Description

Plan, coordinate and perform conceptual and detail design to support installation of aircraft main cabin interiors and associated hardware. Interface with other technical groups and human factors engineering to conduct analysis to provide safe environment for air crew operation of main cabin equipment within the customers performance constraints. Develop and maintain state-of-the-art skills in design practices to provide engineering technology to personnel and internal/external customers. Provide ship-side/vendor liaison. Experience in main cabin design including consoles, seat arrangements, liners and cargo loading a plus. Heavy transport aircraft design experience, manufacturing liaison experience and CATIA V5 proficiency required. BS in Engineering or equiv. Minimum 7 years experience with BS - 5 years with MS
